Sarah, John and their three kids Sleep Rough for REAP and raise £800
On 2nd December Sarah (REAP Director) and her 3 kids and partner John, slept out in the cold and rain in cardboard boxes. WHY?? to raise awareness and funds for REAP’s work to bring together people and resources to tackle the problems of homelessness and destitution faced by refugees and asylum-seekers.
Thanks to kind and generous donations from many people they raised nearly £800.
If anyone would like to donate to our work, cash or BACS is wonderful : REAP 20 38 83 A/c 90846074 – THANK YOU
The funds raised will go to support volunteer-led English groups in the area, and activities to build awareness and collaboration to provide practical help to homeless refugees in West London.

A ‘Big Thank You’ to Trinity Homelessness http://www.wearetrinity.org.uk/the-big-sleepout/ who let us join in with their ‘Big Sleep Out’ and gave us lots of help along the way. I’m meeting up with Trinity’s Chief Exec in the New Year to see if we can help each other’s work, especially around homeless refugees and asylum-seekers.
